How to Use ReadyBoost in Windows Vista

Use Windows Vista's new feature called ReadyBoost to speed up your PC. The ReadyBoost feature allows you to plug in a USB flash drive or a flash memory card and use its contents to cache frequently used files.

-Click Start, then Computer.
-Right click the flash drive or memory card icon and choose Properties.
-Click the ReadyBoost tab


-Select "Use this device" option.
-Use the "Space to reserve for system speed" slide bar to adjust amount of memory you wantto allocate.
-The number that originally appears is the maximum amount available to use.
Click OK.
